Introduction

This Account Deletion Policy explains how users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data on the GigValue platform, operated by OROSK Network Private Limited.

GigValue is a digital services marketplace connecting buyers (brands) and sellers (influencers / service providers). Users have full control over their account and may request deletion at any time, subject to the conditions outlined below.

How to Request Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their GigValue account using any of the following methods:

  • By submitting an account deletion request from the user dashboard (if available), or
  • By emailing a deletion request from the registered email address to [email protected]

For security reasons, account deletion requests must be sent from the email address associated with the GigValue account.

Account Deletion Process

  • Once a valid deletion request is received, the account will be scheduled for deletion
  • The deletion process is typically completed within 7 business days
  • Users will no longer be able to log in once the deletion process is initiated
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed once completed.

Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon successful account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • User profile information
  • Login credentials and authentication data
  • Saved preferences and settings
  • Messages and communication records (subject to legal retention requirements)

Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for a limited period after account deletion where required by applicable law or legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Transaction and invoice records
  • Payment and refund history
  • Records required for taxation, accounting, or legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention and dispute resolution data

Such data is securely stored and accessed only as required by law.

Wallet Balance & Active Orders

  • All active orders must be completed or cancelled before account deletion
  • Any unused wallet balance must be withdrawn or refunded before deletion
  • Account deletion requests may be placed on hold if disputes are ongoing
Note: Account deletion will not proceed until all financial obligations are resolved.

Abuse Prevention

GigValue reserves the right to delay or deny account deletion requests if misuse, fraud, or policy violations are suspected.

This measure is intended to prevent abuse of the platform and protect other users.

  • Information Technology Act, 2000 (India)
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
